At the Young Republicans of Delaware County's General Meeting in February, Michael was elected as the organization's 2nd Chairman in an emergency election following the resignation of Past Chairman Daniel Koerner. Originally from Lindenhurst, NY in Suffolk County, Michael moved to Grand Gorge, Delaware County in 2020, then to Cobleskill in Schoharie County for a couple of months, and finally back to Delhi in Delaware County in the summer of 2021. While on Long Island, Michael was one of the Founding Members and an Executive Board Trustee of the Town of Babylon Young Republican Club. After moving to Grand Gorge, he became involved with the Roxbury Town Republican Committee and joined the Young Republicans of Delaware County as Secretary. Following a brief stint in Cobleskill, he served as Interim Vice Chair for Schoharie County Young Republicans before returning to Delhi and resuming his role as Secretary of the YRDC. Michael ran for the Roxbury Board of Education and subsequently for Roxbury Town Council as a Write-In Candidate after becoming involved with the Roxbury Town Republican Committee. Unfortunately, he was not successful in either bid. Currently a resident of the Town and Village of Delhi, Michael is serving as Chair of the YRDC. Under his leadership, the organization has grown and continues to expand. He successfully secured membership into the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and has actively worked to recruit and serve the community.
